Timoro sp. z o.o. was established in 1991. The company’s main activity is providing services in the field of construction, repair and maintenance of ships and floating structures, infrastructure projects and general construction services.
Timoro cooperates with many entities in Poland and abroad, providing services ordered in the scope of the company’s operations.
Our employees are skilled and qualified professionals. They have experience gained in Polish and foreign shipyards and during ship repairs performed on board during voyage.
Engine fitters/Mechanics

Engine fitters have experience gained in foreign shipyards and on board vessels.
They all hold seaman books.
They have knowledge and experience in the assembly of new marine engines and engine room equipment as well as in their repair, overhaul and maintenance.
Each mechanic has skills for hull and pipe work, and is certified for hot works as well as for gas cutting and tack welding.
Welders
have experience in welding pipes and plates and are certified to weld using following methods:
111- Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
131- Metal Inert Gas welding (MIG)
136- Metal Active Gas welding (MAG)
141- Tungsten Inert Gas welding (TIG)
Some of them have skills confirmed by certificates for two or more methods.
Depending on their qualifications, our welders can weld:
carbon steel, chromium-molybdenum steel, fine-grained structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum and its alloys.
Welding licenses are issued by DNV, PRS, TUV etc.
Many of them holds seaman’s book and are experienced in working on seagoing vessels.
Pipe fitters
perform repairs, replacements, prefabrication and assembly of piping systems on ships, during voyages and in shipyards.
They are familiar with following systems:

- Deck Drain Piping

Pipe fitters work on the following types of pipes:
- stainless steel pipes
- galvanized pipes
- plastik pipes
- cunifer alloy pipes
- aluminium pipes
- copper pipes
Pipe fitters have the necessary experience for making connections with any type of pipe, e.g .:
- screwed pipe joints
- flanged pipe joints
- Ermeto fittings
- pipe couplings
- glue joints
They are certified for hot work including oxy-acetylene cutting and tack welding. Some of them have also welding certificates and qualifications.
